The Bruthen Tambo Rambler was first established in 1999.
The Tambo Rambler is the place for Bruthen and district local news, issues, events and information. The Rambler was formed to be a focal point for local information, and a celebration of our people and our community. We welcome all contributions.
This monthly community newspaper is run entirely by volunteers and is supported by local business and community groups.

The Tambo Rambler is available to pick up from all Bruthen shops from the start of each month.
It is also distributed to venues in Tambo Upper, Nowa Nowa, Buchan, Ensay, Swifts Creek, and Omeo. We also distribute to Local and State Government representatives, Bairnsdale Library, Bairnsdale DELWP, Regional Historical Societies etc. We welcome suggestions of other outlets for the Tambo Rambler.
The Rambler is free, but we really appreciate a small donation as we receive no external funding to produce the newspaper.
Articles and advertising should be received by 20th of each month to be included in the following month’s edition.
