Bruthen Art & Information Centre

A proud community enterprise.

Housed in Bruthen’s oldest surviving wooden shop this delightful little art gallery and information centre is well worth a visit while in our picturesque village. Call in and have a chat with our volunteers who will be able to tell you more about the local history and direct you to the Heritage Precinct. They will also be able to advise on local tourist attractions.

See our range of art work from local artists and crafts people or you might like our handmade cards, jewellery, gifts or a souvenir to remember your trip with or simply enjoy looking.

Opening Hours

We try to be open most days between 10am and 4pm but the centre is staffed by volunteers so we may be closed some days.

Volunteers

We rely on volunteers to run the centre on a day to day basis. If you see yourself working with us or helping out in any other way please contact us to find out more information.

Artists and crafts people

We are always looking for quality art and craft including jewellery to have on display at the centre. There is no charge to exhibit works but we do charge a 25% commission on any pieces that are sold. Please note that the Management group have final say on what works will be accepted for display to ensure a high standard is maintained.

We also hold occasional exhibitions or you might want to hold your own exhibition. Contact us for more information.
